Fuel Tank Black Cover Removal - How Difficult?

I have found a company that sells the covers for our cars painted to match the enterior, and then adds chrome straps. I would like to add one to my 2000 GT but I am wondering how difficult the install will be.

Does anyone know if the black plastic cover just slips off? I saw my whole unit dropped to install my Vortech pump, but I will just need the black cover off. I would like to get some idea before I jump into the new cover.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Your gonna have to drop the tank to get the cover off, which i believe is only held by the straps. Then all you need to do is disconect the fuel lines. I've helped someone do this on a fox body and if its still the same then its not very difficult at all.
