Need to install a 1/2" or 8-AN line into my tank for a fuel return line. Ive found weld in baffles, the sump style however dont want to go this route being In using the stock supply line from the efi pump. I got an 1/2" iron pipe thread sleave and 2 screw in brass fittings, one has a barbed hose end, and the other is just a 1 1/2" brass pipe to extend the flow into the tank. With this welded into the tank will it seal and not leak??? My install location was going to be in the SIDE on the tall side bulkhead of the tank under where the filler neck is located. Will the fuel flow coming in this location effect the pump or baffle?? Does anyone see a problem with this install??? If so what works????

I have an iron/steel weld in female 1/2" NT fitting welded in two the side of my filler neck on same bulkhead area. then I have a 1/2" NPT to -8AN fitting and run SS line but the location should be fine.

Sweet, just the answer I was looking for. Where did you find that 1/2 NPT to 8AN conversion fitting?
