Full length subs on 96-98 Cobra?

Has anybody gone through the modification process to install full lenght weld-ons on the SN95 Cobra's? Mine are Steeda and conflict badly with the tranny crossmember. Thanks.

Are you sure that the ones you installed are full length ones? Most manufacturers call out these cars as different because of this problem. It looks as if I will either have to cut a good bit of the crossmember itself or cut slots in the subs and weld them to the X-member.

Thank you! I was in a quandry as to whether the stamped steel would accept the notch. I am yet again in awe at the way this resource can make even a scarey project a weekend job.

I have Kenny Brown Super Sub frames. They were on the car when I bought it along with most of the other mods on my vert. I would think as long as they are full length and welded in then they should work great!
