funny noise when slowing down.

Well i posted in here yesturday about me getting my car back from the installer and him telling me the B.S. about i needed a chip to recal. my speedo.Well getting a speed cal now but i have a question...............this is my first car that i have had the gear replaced in so i have no idea on how its supposed to sound when slowing down.When i am slowing down,i hear a little faint whine coming from my gears.I'm just wondering if this is normal.Its not a grind.Just a faint whine.Should i be alarmed?Other than that i love it...i have to get used to it though.I forgot to mention that its the ford racing 4:10's(thats what they said they put in and thats what i asked for)Thanks Shane.

consider yourself lucky

Mine whine when I'm going about 40mph, with very light throttle just to keep the speed constant. Happened on my truck too. I dont care...My prochamber pretty much took care of the whine noise
