Finishing up with my battery relocation and came up with a question. I am using a 120a circuit breaker for the power wire off the alternator. I went to the local car audio store for a junction block to connect the alternator wire(stock alternator), basicly wanted the junction block for a cleaner install instead of splicing the wires together. The guy at the store mentioned I should use a fuse along with the circuit breaker. I dont really see the purpose of doing this. He said i should put the breaker right off the alternator and the fuse close to the battery. Any body have any thoughts on this??? Suggestions??? I am a dumbA$$ when it comes to anything electrical.
