got a rundown of the major parts that i want. just wanting some opinions on whether its a good start or not.


DSS Pro Bullet 306 short block -3cc flat-tops w/ main girdle
Edelbrock Victor Jr heads
TFS stage 2 cam
Harland Sharp 1.6 rockers
Holley 750cfm model 4160 carb
Holley HP series 150gph @ 16psi max psi.

and maybe a Weiand 174 Powercharger if i need it

that combo sound like a good starting point for a heavy street/strip combo?

maybe too much with the S/C lol only wanting to see around 450 at the wheels.

Looks good. I will be getting one of DSS racing Level 20 302 Roller block and will build my combo from there.

thanks man. i was debating on whether to get loc wired heads and the block if i go the S/C route. my dad told me to ditch the s/c idea and he'd make me a list of a nice combo that will be all motor but i dont know lol, he's more of a chevy guy than a ford
