Hey guys. I have a 66 fastback that is running around 300 rwhp 315# torque. Over time it has pretty much beaten the stuffing out of my "world class" t-5. Because of the size of the tranny tunnel a tremec isn't much of an option, so I want to go with a g-force. But I've seen a couple of "I've heard about g-force posts" but never from anyone who owns one or even has a brother, cousin, good friend..... that owns one. Just nebulous "heard bad things" If you can give some reviews good or bad, I'd like to hear them.

I love mine!
The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are louder than a standard T-5, but that's because of the thicker gears.
I can beat on this thing, and it keeps on ticking! I think it likes powershifting. :D
Plus, weighing in at an even 4000lbs in my Ranger, I has alot of weight to pull.

Definitely recommend it.

I've read one review of a guy who broke one, and he wasnt abusing it. He tried several attemps to get it right and just had plain bad luck with them.

but thats it..the rest seem to like them.

Far too expensive for me to try one. I went with a TKO. I emailed G-force asking them how they beefed up the case being that it is the weakest link in the trans. I'll try and dig that up. Anyways from what I've heard and seen they won't hold up to what they claim.
