Gas Gauge don't work ??

Ok I figured I would start and fix some basic things before I start to improve performace and my SVO.

The Fuel gauge don't work right, most of the time its dead empty. When you fill it to the top I think it moves some to like a 1/4 tank, but soon drops to empty. I have never messed with the fuel system before but I'm guessing its a sending unit problem and I have to drop the tank and replace it?

Any thoughts?

I don't think anybody's works right but, yeah that is probably the problem, the fact that it is at least getting a signal leads me to believe that. Besides it's probably about time to change the fuel filter too

I'm just spoiled I guess to my 93' LX lol I'm just going to replace the sending unit I guess and the rest of the filters/tune up stuff.
