Gas is in the oil pan again. Car sputters and surges and pops. I'm guessing I blew the diaphram in the Adj Fuel Pressure Regulator because the last thing I did was jack the fuel pressure up to 55... There are a couple of spark plugs with thick black soot. Heh live and learn right?

My plan is to by another FPR, put on some 24lb injectors (already have a better pump installed), and change the plugs yet again.

I am thinking that I need to copy the 93 Cobra setup. Does anyone know what the fuel pressure was set at in a 93 Cobra? They cam with 24's if I recall.

Should I change the EEC too?

if you put 24's in without tuner or a calibrated MAF, I would think you are still going to run rich.

not if you run the cobra eec, it used a regular production maf with an eec programmed for the 24's, and the rest of the fuel system should be the same as lx/gt. as to whether you go that route or with a cal'd maf is up to you.

Thanks folks!

I have both tubes for my C&L...

Do I need the EEC?

not with the tube for the 24's, though some say an eec tuned to 24's with a stock (or 94/95) maf is a better route for driveabilitys sake. since you already have the cal'd maf, i'd say stick with it.
