gas line problems

i recently got a hole in the gas line on my 88 lx,i repaired the prolem with rubber gas line .the problem is at normal driving conditions the car runs fine but when you put the pedal down to really get on the car it blows the rubber line completly off the steel gas line.theres no problem with the vent tube or anything on the gas tank . any suggestions much appreciated,thanks :shrug:

well, stop using rubber line :shrug:
 
I would really consider fixing this problem, could be hazardous. Rubber fuel line will work but it needs to be able to grip. A flaring tool would put a notch on the end of the metal line where the clamp (fuel hose clamp, not regular hose clamps) can grip. I would really suggest metal.
