ok..i have the 5.0 302..and my gas milage right now sucks..i get MAYBE 15miles per gallon..i was wondering what are some cheap maybe free ways to increase/fix this problem?...does that fuel treatment/fuel injector cleaner work?

mine had the window sticker in some papers with it and it said 18 city 24 hyw so in town and driving it like we all drive them 15 isnt bad really.......i think half the bad gas milage claims are ummmmmm, driver induced......

This guy claims he gained like 4 (I think) MPG per gallon. By switching his rear-end fluid to syntethic. A faulty coil could mess things up. New O2 sensors.

15 MPG isnt that bad in the city but you could probably bump that up a bit more. My 4.10's are killing me with MPG's.

well..some of it is driver induced..heh..i guess my car doesnt like being redlined..

i have no mods..completly stock 302..ive done 2 tuneups since the end of winter (one was because everything broke..the other was because it was sitting for 5 months)

it is in a grand marquis (gah..i like saying crown vic more...)

yea..15 isnt bad..but with the 30 that i usta have..the 20gal tank..and 1.90 a gallon with no job...gah

but anything i can do to improve it?..and no..im not gonna drive like a granny..lol

The question really is, how do you drive everyday? Do you drive very conservative and never rev past 2500 or are you constantly in the upper rpm range? That will play a MAJOR role in how good your gas mileage is.

uhhm..no tach..but i would say accelerating..im always in the upp 5s lower 6gs

daily driving i think prob AVERAGE of 3grand?...normal of around 2g but i accel hard (drove my mothers explorer for the tach numbers)

do those waterpumps that arnt run on belts work all that well..and are they relible?
