Gasket

I changed my intake plenum recently and noticed that the factory setup did not have a gasket between the upper plenum and the plastic intake manifold. The new one I bought did not have a gasket with it either. Is there not supposed to be one there? That just doesn't seem right to me.

There isn't one. The top of the lower intake has a rubber seal on it which you just lube with a dab of motor oil.

There is a light blue rubber seal. Mine start leaking so i went to ford and got new one but still leaking. Fu*k.
I change mine with C&L intake and BBK 75mm TB
