i am having an issue with my gauge cluster lights, they simply dont work. now, i have now power to the fuse for them, but if i jump the headlight switch i now have power at the fuse, but still no power to the cluster connecter(blue/red wire). the wiring diagrams i have arent to great in showing splice locations or connector locations to trace that wire to determine if it might be broken? anyone have any ideas or places i should also check?...by the way this is an a 68 stang.

Are you sure you checked the right fuse. I just had this same problem. The fuse looked good but was blown. It was the fuse in the middle of the fuse block that sits alone.

What about the headlight switch itself is it the original?

yea its that little fuse thats sits in the middle of the fuse box, and the light switch is old and no good anyway because i have no power to the fuse in the first place but if i disconnect the headlight switch i can jump the switch and then i now have power at that fuse but still no power to the cluster

DId you actually test the fuse? You'll have power to one side of the fuse but not the other if it's burnt. When you test power to the fuse are you testing both sides of the fuse?

well i did some more testing and it turned out to be the fuse block itself, like i said before it had power going in but not out at that wire. the connector was very loose in the block itself and the pins that hold the fuse were also loose. thanks guys!
