gauge needles now are wrong

hey guys, istalled white faces, removed needles now they are not acurate, what can i do to fix it, gas is too full, temp is to hot and speedometerdoesnt seat on the needle rest,so does the rpm needle the sit too high now, olease help, thanks.

There is a fairly simple fix to it,but I cant remember how,but someone posted the fix on here a couple weeks or so back...ill see if I can come across it.

I see you got it running by switching the circuit boards around. Follow the link that radidscoobie posted. Pull the gauges off and set them close to where they should be. You can set them while the car is running. What I did was pull the gauges off with the engine off. Started the car and gently put them in place. I had to set the tach and speedo this way. It's really no big deal. Pearl02.

Why would you drive down the road fixing your needles??

Let the car run until its at operating temp. Pop the needles off,put everything in the "normal" position, put the RPM needle at 650-700 RPM which is where your car should idle at operating temp. Then place the speedometer needle on the 0mph "resting bar" AFTER the car has been turned on. If you put the needle on at 0mph before its turned on, your speed will be too high. Fuel gauge you are on your own.
