Guys I was wondering if anyones familiar with the Ford Racing gauges. Im considering them because I like to keep her as Ford as possible within reason. Anyone ever ran the FRPP gauges? Are they color backlit or is it just a bulb to illuminate the gauge? I like Autometer for the variety they have as far as styling and color goes. Just looking for some opinions.

Just to let you know, the Ford gauges are made by Autometer. They just package them in a plain box and don't send out autometer stickers. I'm trying to decide on gauges also. Not sure what brand to buy (I used to work at Autometer).

Thats what Im going for 86blue. Now that I know theyre made by auto meter then all the beter. So theres quality and the blue oval.

i have a 2 5/8 ford racing boost guage and it is very nice. they are back lit by a bulb but they sell bulb covers if you want to change the color of the backlite.

I love my FRPP guages, but the only down part is they seem to be a bit more expensive than the standard Autometer guages.

I like the FPRR gauges too - very classy lookin if you ask me. But AM has some really sweet lookin stuff too (some of the AM's are cooler lookin' to me). Just personal preference. Basically saying you are having to choose from two great product lines - you cant go wrong.

I know I really like I think its the C2 line of AM but at the same time I like Ford pieces. Like you said though, cant go wrong either way really.
