hey guys i have a question:

if i get a wideband air/fuel ratio gauge is it still advisable to get a fuel pressure gauge? i'm running a 100 wet shot and i also have a tune with the timing retarded and a little extra fuel on my xcalII.

The fuel pressure guage would certainly be good to have, but I certainly any change in fuel pressure will show up on the A/F guage, and regardless what the fuel pressure guage reads, if that wideband pegs lean, I'm letting off!

yes.

a wideband a/f gauge is a must on just about any modded car. why WOULDNT you want to be able to see your true a/f ratio in realtime?

and since you are nitrous, a fuel pressure gauge is also a very good thing.

also if you want a triple pillar setup, id throw in a EGT gauge as well. buddy of mine in his dsm was on the freeway when his EGT shot up, his a/f remained where it should be. pulled over, and found his water pump was done, and the water temp gauges are slow to react in those cars.

I agree with thomas on the EGT gauge, I'd say its more important and accurate than an AFR gauge. The FP gauge is a good idea, but for as much as they cost you should get the EGT, assuming you already have a FP safety switch for the nitrous to do emergency monitoring on the pump in case it goes out halfway through a nitrous pass.
