gear change, how low?

i've decided it's about time to change out my gears but not sure how low. it's a daily driver but never see's over 15 miles either direction. mpg doesn't matter i just want better red light to red light.. cadillac sts took me for a ride a few days ago although i beat it i didn't feel comfortable when he was right behind me.

T5 = 3.55's or 3.73's
AOD = 3.73's or 4.10's

My T-5 with the 3.73's pulls nicely out of the hole. It's great first second and third. That STS won't keep up as well next time.

I believe you though. MY dad had a stock 95 GT auto when I was 17 in highschool and one almost beat me too!!!!

I have ran about every gear you can and the best gear all around has to be a 4.10. The differance from a 4.10 to a 3.73 at 55 is only about 200rpm. Go all out you won't regret it.
