gear drive

I found a gear drive for sale that says it fits 302/351w Engines. Now does that mean that it fits only the older non roller 302s or will it fit my 87 5.0 HO roller motor?

Personally I wouldnt use one. Too many horror stories. My buddy lost his 347 to one that was defective and came apart.
