I have an 89 coupe that has a 7.5" in it right now, I am getting an 8.8 for it. I will be putting a 331 stroker motor in the car, but want to get the 8.8 done and in first. I have been thinking about 3.73 gears. I had 4.10 in the 85 i had. Which gear would be better for the rearend?
If you car is a 5 speed and you plan on staying naturally aspirated I would go with 3.73's If you plan on going turbo later I would just get 3.55's. Im not a big fan of 4.10's unless you have an auto.
I have an auto, wanting to go to a c-4 after the 331 build. I will more than likley be putting a bottle on it also. If I dont do a 331 I will build a 351 W.
