i'm going to order my 4.10's monday, but i was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest place to order actual ford racing gears. i saw them in a magazine ad but when i called they had jumped from $159.00 to $199.00. gears and install kit were going to be $320.00 shipped. thanks

Try ebay first, then www.gefracing.com. Either should be pretty cheap in comparison. I paid $140 shipped.

I heard from a shop that those gears and others that are $140 aren't that good that's why they can charge only $140 and the real Ford Racing gears are about $180 everywhere else. I don't know how true this is but that's what I was told by a reputable shop.

I agree with urban96, i just bought mine from http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=461 and they were $169 and ~$15 shipping, I think my total was right at $185 shipped to my door. Also, just for clarification, they are the real things, official Ford Motorsport gears. Good luck.
