gears... 4.10 0r 3.73 ?

i have a 97 gt automatic, thinkin about gears but dont know what to go for, 4.10 or 3.73 any suggestions?

i have 3.73 in my 5 speed and love it but it depends what the car is going to be. mine is a dd right now so thats just perfect

For an Auto NPI car I don't think 3.73's should even be an option and I have 3.73's in my car.

4.10's and dont look back especially with an auto i have a 5 speed and dd it with 4.30's, you will love 4.10's!

Some 2.73 gears would be the best, that way you have WiCk3d top speed...






But in all seriousness, the general rule is if its automatic get 4.10's and dont look back. If its a 5 speed 3.73s are good choice. Also keep in mind what the overall goal of the car is. If you plan on supercharging it you may want to keep the stock gears or use 3.73s.

And yes please use the search...
