Just asking about the gear choice affect on aod's as far as 3.55's, 3.73s' and 4.10's....not asking which to choose, but more so asking about how it will affect the tranny as far as the weak OD band and mpg...I know gears make it easier in town to get to "speed" and usually dont affect or help mpg slightly in 5 speeds...is this the same deal with aod's? Im still learningmy auto stuff

Well i've got an AOD with 3:73's and they're pretty good.I would say you'd have to decide where you drive the vehicle the most. If you drive highway alot for for the 3:73's. Otherwise I say 4:10's in the best choice because the AOD seems to have a high 1st gear ratio.

Should not affect gas mileage in town, and may actually improve it some if only in town driving. It will pull away from a stop with less strain, and shift up to a higher gear sooner. My gas mileage in town did not go up even with 4.30 gears, but my MPG sure went to crap with the little highway driving I do.

Nothing less then 4:10's....you may actually see a increase in mileage around town.
