Ok, Ive been debating between 3.55's and 3.73's for my 97 auto. Im worried about my speedometer being way off.
I checked out dallasmustang's forum on the speed-cal and it seems that
alot of auto ppl are having problems with the speed-cal. So that is scaring
me away from the speed-cal.

Does anyone know a off my speedo will be with 3.73's and the 23 tooth (3.55)speedo gear?
And second question is to anyone using the DM speed-cal on an auto,
any probems? how long have you used it?

Thanks

ur speedo will probably be off by about 20-30mph... i rode in an uncalibrated mustang with 4:10s once and at about 40mph it was showing 90mph

Get the speedcal. I've had mine on for 2 yeras with no problems. The speedo gear is a waste of money. And get the 3.73's. You will be glad you did...my even want to go 4.10's...I did.

Na, I don't want 4.10's. My friend (Silvergt2001) put 4.10's on his car
last week and I didnt like the freeway driving (80) much at all. In town
from light to light was fun... But he likes it and thats all that matters...

Im not out to have the fastest car in town, just a nice all around American made muscle car. So I know I would be happy with 3.55's but happier with
3.73's. I just want my speedo to right-on also!

Eitherway it will be a good upgrade from the 3.08's that Im sportin' now crapola

Keep the info coming,
just no more "4.10's" and "don't fear the gear" ....

If your car is a auto you should go with the 4:10's If its a manual the 3:73's would be ok if your not after max performance. For me it was 4:10's no other choice was ever considered.
