hey guys how do i get both tires to spin in my notch do i have to change the whole rear or can i just put the gears in and that'll do it?

limited slip differential. You can get one used from ebay, or new from places like jegs/summit ect... but you should probably have a pro install it.

Get the diff, ring and pinion out of an aerostar. Its 7 1/2'' rear with trac-loc and 4.10 gears.

not always. Our 91 has a 7.5, but it has 3.73's and an open rear.

alright so go to a junkyard and get the differential cover,ring and pinion out of a ford aerostar. Any particular yr of the aerostar or any ones. thanks guys

I heard it was specific years, look up how to read differencial tag's or door-jam factory codes...both which specify what the rear has (or had) from the factory.

Damn near all of them! Seriously there is a bunch. They also have 8.8's but most were 7.5's. I believe all the AWD have liimited slip, as well as the 4.0L just look they will be there..

The rear end should be visible and it's obvious what the POSI looks like.
