Stock block 302 with the t-5. palnning to use for occasional track use. Would like to be able to drive it on the higway. Any other info needed just let me know.
i would say either 3.55's or 3.27's if you go much shorter than 3.55's then you wont be at WOT long enough in 1st and 2nd to even get to full boost for any extended period of time. I think turbo stangs should be built more as highway screamers than track stars. I would think you would still want to touch off 120 in 4th...so that probly means 3.27's
put a six speed in it with the double overdrive you should be able to run 3.90 4.10 and not kill the mileage and top end, that way the gears will do the work while the turbo is spinnin up, and then it will pull hard off the line and never stop

The problem is...the gears will be doing the work and not allow the turbo's to spool up (quickly).
Keep in mind, turbo's are load based not rpm. As such, the lower (numerical) gear set will allow the turbo to spool faster by allowing more load. This is why 3.27's are ideal for most street driven mustangs running stock sized tires.
