after installing my pro 5.0 the other day im itching to make it faster ...it's an addiction!!
i want both but for now i want to do either 3:73 gears or a programmer
with my o/r x pipe i think that my air fuel ratio is messed up
-how much of a difference would a programmer make?
what do ya think??

I'd personally do the programmer because a good tune definitely woke my car up when I did it. Also when you do eventually get the gears you can use the programmer to set that you have a new gear ratio so your speedo will be correct. Plus it's less expensive for the time being. Just my $.02

Definately the a 4.10 or 4.30 gear for a N/A car and a 3.73 for a blown/nitrous car. A 4.10 will far more wake up the car than a programmer will. Even a dyno tuned programmer. You don't have enough mods on your car to get more than 10-15 hp from the programmer. 4.10 will take 4 or 5 tenths off your car in the 1/8 mile if you drive right. Programmer might take off 1 tenth in the 1/8 mile.

Gear it first, that wakes up the 4.6l. go 4.10 or 4.30. I 3.73 really isn't enough to keep the car in its power range. You will love the gears and you can feel the acceleration change in every gear.. The programer will add a few hp not enough to make you notice it.
