I am awaiting my tax return and will finally be able to spend a bit of $$ on my ride. Going to grab me a a 4.10 kit. My question is since i already have a SCT 4 Bank chip can I just have this sent back and retuned for my gears to solve the speedo problem with gears? or do I need to buy a speed cal? Thanks for the help and also does anyone know any reputible shops in the Socal area that'll install for cheap? Thanks for the help guys.

Depends on what year you have - '99 or up - yes you can have the chip reburned for the gears. 98 and older you need a SpeedCal...

as stated above, if you have a 98 or older you need a speed cal.
i have a 96 gt with the 4.10 gears. i have yet to find a speed cal gear that will work for the 4.10's. a few places sell the "4.10" speedo gear, but it is actually the same as the 3.73 gear so my speedometer still reads off.
if anyone knows any more info in this, i'd appreciate it as well.
