Gears & T-lock Question

Hi new to this forum and just got a quick question. I currently got a 03 gt and havent been able to do much to it at all because of money but im finally getting some and are looking into getting gears. I was looking at the 4.10 gears at AM.com but i was just reading on that you have to buy a T-lock too? whats this about and its required for a new set of gears? Thanks for your help guys.

its a rebuild kit. its like 80 bucks from ford

you dont have to buy a t-lock but it is highly recomended that you get a t-lock re-build kit. you can get them from your local stealership (dealership) or online. i believe 50resto has good deals on that kit.

you can buy it cheaper then 80 bucks if you look around.. i think i paid 35 for mine through summit.. i would rebuild it since you got it all apart
