Do you have a five speed or an automatic ? What are your other modifications to the car ? Finally, what are your future plans for the car ? These questions will help to determine what is best for your application. I can tell you most will suggest if you're staying n/a, to go with 4.10 gears but that all depends on what is done to the vehicle. I have 4.30's in my setup, I drive my car daily, and I love them.

Actually, the 4.10s would be a bit low for your taste. :D
Anyway, I didn't click the link, but seeing as it is a kb website, those numbers are probably with a blower. If you use a power adder, go with 3.73, if staying n/a, go 4.10.

Go with 4.10. A buddy of mine that I work with has a 96 GT with 4.10 and drives about 60-70 miles one way to work on the interstate without any issues. Actually he posts under Coramprat. I plan on doing 4.10 in the future also. So definetly 4.10 all the way.

id imagine its pretty hard to get out of the whole with 4.10s and a 5-speed. if its not i think im going to go that route. i have a 98 gt 5-speed i dont plan on making a bunch of power i have o/r h and flowmaster right now, probably going to add a plenum and UD pullies maybe make an intake and get some DR's. would 4.10s be a good gear for me?

4.10s and some stickey tires and you will be very happy.. with a 98 you might even want to consider higher, my 4.30s only rev about 100 rpm higher than my buddies car with 4.10s and the extra little bit helpes the pig of a 96 get out its own way :rlaugh:

I have a 98 also with a 5spd. I am definetly going with 4.10 gears. With my cams, PI intake, and a dyno tune this will definetly help in getting the power to the ground. See if you can find someone with the gears and this will greatly help with your decision. The 4.10 would great for your car.
