has anyone ever used Motive brand gears in there mustangs? I can get a great deal on them but would like some feedback. I have always used frpp.

i think if it's a street car and not a 10 or 9 second monster.....gears are gears

the ford gears are much better."Usually" most guys can get away with using the stock pinion shims and what not because they meet factory specs, DEAD ON

When i dropped my rear off a couple weeks ago, the guy said, " good,you got the Ford gears"
Does that necesarily mean anything? NO, but just a reputable shop/guys opinion who has done many gear installations.

cool, i found the gear set and master installation kit in the stangnet classifieds for 210 shipped, so i was wondering about them. I have frpp 3.73's in it now but i have a new auburn pro diff and 31 splines going in soon so i wanted to replace the gears also...no sense in half assin it. thanks
