does a 95 gt 5spd have 273 gears or 373??also i am going to be installing a pully kit do i have to buy a shorter belt or can i use my stock one ?

Stock gear for a 5 speed was normally the 2.73 with a few 3.08's (very few though). Auto had a 3.23 i beleive...

Normal reccomendation is a 3.73 with 5-speed and a 4.10 with auto (FRPP is preferred brand).

I have 3.73 with 5-speed and it was night and day difference but some days I wish I went with 4.10s...

Fogot to mention the belt length. Belt length should be the same, however this is not always true as a stock size belt was too long for my car and I had to try different sizes to find one that fit...

autos had 3.27s....mine for some odd reason had 2.73s...from 2.73s to 4.10s was bad@$$

get 3.73 if you do mostly streets
4.10 are pretty agressive and gas guzzlers.... but up to you.

A L L of them did not have the same ratio

Mine had 308's

mine had 3.27's in it and it is a factory 5spd i have 3.73's love them but getting ready for 4.10's and six speed conversion

I like my uber 4 cylinder mileage on my 2.73s

My auto had 2.73 and I upgraded to 3.73. Felt like 1st gear was gone until I got use to it.
