I have had some Fuzion ZRI tires that were pretty cheap and I think made by bridgestone or someone. They worked great on the street and even worked decent for a street tire at the drag strip.Think they were 100 bux or less a peice

General Tire has been around forever. Some cars come with them stock. You should be OK with any General product. The brands I would stay away from are the ones that come from China or Indonesia and such. No way the quality control is as rigid as it is here or Italy or Germany.

I've had great luck with Sumi's on my mustangs. In fact a lot of my stang friends around here have them and all have no complaints from them what so ever. I was able to pull 1.9 sixties with my htrz 1's.

Oh, and General tire is a great brand. Like someone stated, they supply many oem tires.

I actually just got a set of these tires put on today. I had BFG G-force sports before. They seem to be about the same width wise as the BFG's. They fit the rims well.

Can't comment too much as far as performance goes yet, but so far they seem comparable as far as ride and steering feel go. They are also pretty quiet (I can't hear them over my exhaust).

I had em and got ride of them when I upgraded my wheels. They are great for the price but are too soft in my opinion. Thus you will run through them quick. They dont offer that great of wet traction either. I used to break mine loose at every other red light without even trying, just normal driving. I upgraded and just got a set of the Cooper Zeons. Super sticky medium hard tire. General is a good buy for the money though. Unbiased opinion.

this is my only concern, the treadwear rating was pretty high at 360. That high of a treadwear they should last a long time.
