Sounds good to me, I don't think George has much left to do on his car either. Maybe we can set something up in March

I vote : "Party at Georges".
We can all sit around on lounge chairs, admire our Saleens, sip spirits, eat finger samichs, and watch George work. Maybe even give suggestions on how to do it better. LOL

Seriously though, I am getting Stir Crazy! We need to do something quick because the SSC has only been moved once this year. That was so I could sweep the floor in the Garage. Last time I put gas in it was last summer. Still got 3/4 tank.
Hurry Up George!

OK George. I'm in. when my car gets back from the rear end rebuild I just have to do some tightening up.

I can surely sit around and watch you work! LOL

But, knowing me, I'll push you aside and do it myself!

What do you have to do?

You better have put Sta-Bil in it!!

If you didn't do it! Ya know, you don't even deserve that SSC! I'll buy it! J/K

I would love to actually see a SSC in person. Probably my favorite Saleen of all time except an SA-10

I don't need Stabil because I've got something better. C18. I crank it up occasionally to smell that 118 octane burn. MMMM-MMMM LOL
I bought 5 gals back last summer and topped off my tank with it. Even today, I can still smell it. Sure does make the car run good too.
You want to see an SSC in person? Ahh, it's just another Old boring looking White Mustang. That's what my wife says. She just don't get it.

OK you wonder where I'm at on the car. Well here she is but just add the front suspension back in and the wiring harnesses back in and brakes and that's pretty much where I'm at...............

Yes it's an original Saleen. 1987 #065. And yes I'm restoring her. It's a long story but it's been told many times on saleentalk board.

As soon as i have the money for my stroker, i will be detailing my engine bay. I am going to shoot it myself in the garage. everything else is pretty much done. I will re-do the carpet again cause i messed up a little.

Do you know where i can get a factory carpet with all the cut outs?

I wanted to do that to mine Mark but I just decided it would be easier to leave it stock that way.
Bart, looks like I am commited to going over my nephews tomorrow afterall. Bummer because I would rather stay at home and work on the Saleen all day. I'll give you a call tomorrow.
