Get rid of power antenna

First, let me tell you that I have a 1997 Mustang GT Coupe (4.6L V8, but I'm sure you already know that).

I have a power antenna (automatically raises when the radio is powered on and lowers when it's off) and it's broken and makes a loud noise every time I turn on the radio. Rather than fixing it, I just want to get rid of the motor all together and install an 8-inch Fixed Black Antenna (1979-2009) at AmericanMuscle. I bought the antenna already, but can't figure out how to install it.

First, I need to figure out how to remove the front quarter panel that the motor is behind.

Second, where can I order the housing for it (the part where it attaches to the body)? I don't like the housing I have and don't think it will fit anyway. The antenna didn't come with the base to attach it to the body...you are already supposed to have that part.

Third, how do I wire it once the motor is removed? I may be able to figure this out myself once I can actually get inside and look.

Basically, I'm asking how to completely remove the motor, base/housing (whatever it's called), and antenna that is already on my car and replace it with the short, fixed antenna I bought to replace it. I don't want the power antenna at all any more.

I know it's not stock, but it's how I bought it.

Anyway, I was hoping that someone could at least help me figure out how to get off the front quarter panel. There are some weird kind of screws on it that I don't know how to take off without permanently destroying the connection.

Guess I'll have to wait for the repair guides I ordered get here.
