Hey, I know it's not tech, but until we get a talk section it will have to do.

Wanted to have a thread where the BANDWAGON 5.0 jumpers can give their name, maybe where theyre from and when they got their new toy.


Im Rob, but everyone from the 94/95 forum just calls me "RC". From S. Florida area. Had my 94 since it was new and just sold it modded up to get the new 5.0 Should be here tomorrow, 10/28

Name is Joe I am in San Diego and this is my 7th Mustang (also had 2 LTD-LX's). All previous were Foxes execpt for the 03 Mach. I still own the 93 in my sig, it has a turbo 363, t56, MM suspension makes a little over 600/600 on 14.5psi on crappy 91 octane.

How I picked up this car was kind of odd. A friend of mine ordered it (exactly how I would have if I had ordered it), well he had some personal stuff come up and had to pass on the car so I picked it up. It was like fate or something LOL.

What a fun car, has JLT and Brenspeed tune and WOW! what a rocket.

'11 GT, Brembo package, 3.73 rear, Kona blue. Picked up 10/24/10

First Mustang. Wasn't really planning on one, I was looking for a 5 or so year old M3. I stopped at a dealer to try the GT for the hell of it and was impressed. I decided that for the same money, I would rather have the new GT. I was going to order one for the spring, but the dealer found the exact car I was looking for and offered me a decent price.

It's a whole different animal from the M3 I had in mind (not better or worse, just different), but I am very happy with it . Can't wait to get it on the track.

Glad to see all of these Houston area owners. We will have to set up a HRP meet eventually

This is my third mustang since being on this forum. I had a 98 (reason for the username obviously), then a lightly modded 06 of which I traded in for the kona blue GT.

Most of the guys from the forum know me as Maddox.

New Owner

I just sold a stock 03 that I drove for 3 years. Really liked the car. Last year spent some time with the show guys then The svt autocross guys who really drive these cars.
I got the glass roof 5.0 with a standard transmission. The red interior really set off the ingot silver paint.
I liked the CS model but wanted the brembo brakes ( the best I have ever driven) so I did a build around. I got the trim package 5 (scoups and pedistal spoiler) with the brakes then added the CS front valance splitter. It is in the shop right now for the new functional ram air hood and paint. The stock bolt on hood scoop didn't do it for me. We are also installing the Corsa mufflers and X pipe.
The rest of the plan is to install the C&L air intake and get a 93 dyno tune.

Next spring I'll try some local car shows and get out there.

I'm known as "Captain" around here as I just moved ashore after 10 years traveling the worlds oceans. Next I am going to travel this country's car events starting in Florida in January.

I'm John, originally from Ohio, stationed in CA and currently in a nice, hot, dusty location.

I own a 2004DSG GT with a few mods and a 2011 Sterling Grey GT Brembo, Sec Pack, Comfort, HIDs, 3.73s. My dad took delivery of the car about 2 weeks ago. I cant wait to get back and drive it I'm growing pretty impatient!!

I'll probably do lowering springs and jlt/sct3 and am thinking about the GT500 spoiler but we'll see.

I'm in the St. Louis area also, Edwardsville IL to be exact. I bought mine two weeks ago, black base GT w/ 3.73s as the only option.

First Mustang, prior to this I had a few f-bodies. I work in IT as a network engineer.

Hi all. New here. I bought a brand new 07 GT then sold it for a Brand new 09 Challenger RT. Test drove the new 5.0 in spring and knew I had to have it. Traded my RT 2 weeks ago for a new 5.0. Love it just wish I didn't have to park for the winter. Cheers

Hey, my name is Rick. Im from Miami, work in Fort Stewart, GA and go to Orlando every other week. I pick up my new 5.0 tomorrow from the dealer in orlando. I sold my S2000 three weeks ago but ordered my 5.0 when I was working in Korea with the Army.
