I am waiting on my SpeedCal to get in, then I am having it and 4.10 gears installed. I am a 3.73 guy, but decided to take the plunge and do something different on this Mustang...again...I used to be all gun-ho about the O/R X-Pipe, but for this car I got the H Pipe instead, now I have had 3.73 gears in 4 other Mustangs...but this time I am going to the 4.10s. My question is what will or should I do to feel the biggest difference? I would take it straight to the track in a warmer climate, however this is Kansas and Heartland Park is closed for the season...any ideas on to see the difference?
I thought about going to a little stretch of road outside of town that people tend to race at and dropping the hammer before and then after. I don't race on the street, it would be in broad daylight and all the racing happens at night out there. I thought about taking it as fast as I could from one point to another and then doing just a 0-60 test in my head.
I have no doubts I will feel and tell the difference, but in the past with the 3.73s I didn't feel much if anything at all, probably because I was expecting to much.
