Since the engine bay ain't even the color of the car now, looks like the car used to be blue or something I was thinking about cleaning up some of the junk taking the smog controls on the back of the strut tower out etc, and painting the bay flat black, gloss black would show more inperfections and I'm not going to put alot of time into a beater to fill in all the holes and everything.....flat black engine bay, and maybe a powdercoat my frieind might be able to do cheap to the intake and valve covers that looks just like polished aluminum.

Any other ideas or pics?

and for the heads, they were pretty warped, there wasa decent size gap on the inner 2 cylinders, 10 thousandths should be good enough but I'm having my friend cut em 15 thousandths to bump up the compression a tad and make up for the slightly thicker 9333 head gasket I'm using.

lol yea you do know I'm in Jersey, I brought over that chic to buy your old red notch, she finally got a black gt 5spd. BONE STOCK and she paid the same for that as she coulda got yours with all that work and she had to get new exhaust and a paint job....Whatever she's dumb and now we're not even friends anymore anyway.

I used to pass your house everday on my lunch break when I used to go to my friends tanning salon to eat lunch with her. She looks good, the rims are real slick looking. Let me know if you need any parts, I didn't look at all the pages but I know I saw a stock intake in there lol I have a set of never ran World products heads, might be getting rid of my cobra intake with a ported lower, pro chamber for long tubes, never used Lakewood 70/30 front struts etc. and alot more...and I got like 5 stock maf's if you still need a maf, I didn't get to read the page with your maf problem.

and yeah I'm keeping this car on the down low, only a few friends know about it, I'm keeping it at my friends house once i get it back together I'm getting it 5% all around and going out to surprise a few people lol

Got the heads back from my friend that has a machine shop behind his house and he milled them .005 at a time and stopped once there wasn't anymore untouched spots....ended up taking off around .025 so it will bump up the compression a wee bit. and having my friend paint the valve covers and upper and lower with a spray gun for $50...and I'm painting the engine bay flat black which should bring out the silver intake and vc's even more

AHHHHHH I remember now!!!!! Wow that chick bough a bone stock car for the same price i let mine go for? All mine needed was a tune and that was it! Everything else was done. Well minus the fact that it had a porno red interior. I don't know what happened to that car, the person who bough it stopped writing me, and someone on here knows the kid (25thmustang) but he hasn't seen him in a while either.

hey if you see me out there working on the car stop by dammit!! haha!! yea my car is basically bone stock. its a 100% stock 60k mile 5.0 with full exhaust. I may be hitting you up after the holidays about that cobra intake. I have been wanting one

Also i definitely want to see this car so when she's done bring her by!

I will, we could take some pics of ours together or something.the car's still headless in my friend's garage. I have to clean up the heads, lap the valves and put everything back together, and I'm deff sellin that cobra, I just picked up a trickflow intake for it....and then got to do door hinge bushings since it's letting rain get in through the door seal and something with the upper rear control arm bushing then it'll be good to go....cant wait

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
