Im looking to get my 67 mustang coupe primered and Im not sure which route to go. Either get the body media blasted then epoxy primered or have a body shop strip the body to bare metal then epoxy primered. I can take off all the exterior trim (window trim, rocker moldings, headlights, grill, etc.) to save the cost on labor. I dont want to get a paint job right now because I want to save money so it really depends how much each method will cost. Does anyone know a ball park figure on how much each method will cost? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

getting anything media blasted is EXPENSIVE but it is way quicker than chemical stripping it your self. which is way cheaper just takes a while

You can also get it chemically dipped. It's comparably in price to media blasting but is a little more thorough from the folks I've talked to.

I paid $1100 to have my entire car, inside and out media blasted and epoxy primed. The rusted parts ( quarters, floors and outside of the doors) were cut out before it went to the blaster.
