Getting gears, SCT question?

I've decided to start doing a few things to my DD. I'm going to put a set of 3.73 gears in. Is it ok to get the cheap ones (motive performance) or should I spend the coin on FRPP gears? Also I have an intake and exhaust, would it be beneficial to get an SCT and some tunes? Will I notice any power gains from the SCT, or should I skip that all together? Thanks.

i would def spend extra for FFRP, my fried had cheap ones in his car when he bought it and they whined all the time and he ended up replaceing them with FFRP

also def get SCT x3, u will feel a difference and u can adjust for the gears so ur speedo reads correctly, and other things like if u ever got a different size wheel and tire combo

spend the money...I had another brand of 3.73's and sold them to get the Ford ones...much better..

and as he said...get the SCT...

ya def. get the tuner. and strange puts motive gears in their rearend setups so their not bad but fords are great. nothin beats a 9 in. though
