All,

I noticed a number of posts lately where people have a hard time getting the correct intake system parts for a stock '94/'95 GT 5.0.

As most of us know, our intakes were "borrowed" from the '93 Thunderbird 5.0 engines. The '93 and earlier Mustang GT 5.0 intakes were too tall to fit under the '94/'95 GT hoods, so Ford used the low profile intake off of the Thunderbird 5.0.

I get the right intake parts now because I have a hard copy print out of the intake parts illustration for a '93 Thunderbird 5.0 from the local Ford dealer's parts department.

By the way, Ford dealer's computers still show the wrong intake system parts illustration for our cars to this day! (Still shows the old taller '93 and earlier design.) Its no wonder they give people the wrong part all the time! The computers are still wrong!

I scanned both parts illustrations to a PDF file and posted them. Here they are...

Print yourself a copy and keep it on file. You should get the right parts if you use them, and tell the parts guy to look up the parts you need on the '93 Thunderbird 5.0 intake parts illustration.

Hope that helps someone out.
