Has anyone got any ideas, or even better, pictures of something they fabbed up to keep water out of the filter?

I think this may be my problem thats causing the car to stutter. I tray to avoid as much water as I can (such as following the tracks from the car in front of me) and never hit puddles.

I need to make some kind of shield of some sort to protect the filter and MAF, any ideas on what I should use?

I think you just need to wait this weather out. My Fenderwell filter is soaked but i don't really have any stumbling probs and stuff.

Only a couple more days of monsoons. They are saying 70-80 degrees on Marathon Monday

Im sick of not seeing the sun! When I do my fuel pump on friday I'll try to see what I can do about the filter.

It doesn't sit on top of the wheel like yours might, but rather in front of the the front wheel, the power pipe angles it down there like that and the maf makes it go down even further :(

Good point. I have a fenderwell CAI so as soon as it curves into the fender that's where the filter sits. It still gets wet though from driving through standing 4" deep water puddles. My city is right on the ocean so we always flood when it gets heavy rain. I've gone into puddles before where rthe water goes up over my hood.
