I really dont want to argue this in this thread, but the Colts were a dropped bomb from Reggie Wayne from winning that game. It was in his hands and would have sealed it, I dont really say they stopped them in their tracks but in any event a win is a win.

There are countless games each year where if just 1-2 plays went another way, the winner & loser would be reversed. Giants game #2 vs. Cow's had 3 horrific penality calls against the Giants. If just 2 of them were wiped away as even the announcers suggested, the Giants would have had 14 points more.

In the case of the Colts/Pats this year, I think a HUGE reason why Pats won the game (besides being very good) was that "Starvin' Marvin" was injured and could not play.

Of course we can always open the injured players lines of excuses. LOL

I said they domintaed MOST not all.. Out of the four real contenders they played

steelers = dominated

cowboys = dominated

chargers = owned

only the colts gave a game and in the last 10 minutes the pats did what they wanted. They stoped the colts dead in their tracks when all they needed was a few first downs and scored at will

So those were the real teams they played..

I think with the philly and baltimore games they got a little cocky.. Plus they let both philly and baltimore hold the pats receivers like crazy.. Thats something I really don't bitch about much because other teams have had that happen to them in the past... UHH like the colts.

not to be a stickler for details...but you said "all".

I agree with you about any given day... BUT when this pats team has played good teams they have domintaed all of them except indy.. and the last 10 mintes of that game the pats took it too the colts..

I see you did not read the part that said except indy????

That means they did not blow out indy.. So they did not blow out all the quality teams they played...

Waiting for you to acknowledge that you misread what I posted

Again..

I was only talk about playoff bound teams or teams with current winning records..

They blew out the Chargers, steelers, cowboys and browns.. . The only close game was the colts...

And thats exactly what I said in my original post on it..

Both teams played well and played hard. Congrads to the Pats. Hopefully this game will help the Giants prepare for the big game in the playoffs against Tampon Bay next Saturday.

Whelp I was very happy that the injuries were kept to a minimum. However, Shawn O'Hara the starting center was taken out of the game, it didn't look good. I don't know how bad his leg is yet.

Just heard O'Hara has a broken leg and Kiwakia Mitchell (LB) tore his ACL.

Wonder who the Pats will play in 2 weeks?
Imagine if these 2 teams met again for the Superbowl? It's not likely but it is possible.

wouldn't be as close, teams usually dont fair to well the second time around when facing the Patriots in the same season. Teams they have lost to before and met later on usually got the tables turned on them. Giants played well for the most part and took alot of what the Eagles did but in both cases you can contain the passing game for "a time" but not for 60 mins, no one has come up with a solution for that yet.

I wonder if coughlin is going to take some heat in NY for those players getting hurt?

I unless there is a upset it looks like we get the steelers in the first game..

Both teams did extremely well. Only little screwups were seen. ie. Mannings dropped ball on the line of scrim, Moss's dropped pass.

It was a nailbiting game all the way through and I really enjoyed it. Now we just need to go 19 - 0

Dont forget about the INT and it was not Moss's fault, it as more under thrown then anything.
