Giants Win! Giants in Superbowl 42!

Teriffic win for the Giants. It's been a long time since they won a road playoff game.
Eli had another very good game in a high pressure situation. If Gilbride will continue to concentrate on the rushing attack and play action then Eli & the Giants will continue to have a good offence.

The Bucs led the NFL in turnover ratios and the Giants goal was to not turn the rock over today because the Bucs would probably win. This time the Giants did not have a single turnover and they got the Bucs to turn it over three times.

The Cowboys may be the 2nd best team in the NFL or there about and the G-men will really be tested. If they can squeek out a win (or kick the hell out of them), there would be many happy fans and sad ESPN reporters!

Good luck to the Giants for the win in Dallas next Sunday at 4:30.

I am looking forward to the Cowboys game. If they win, I am pretty sure we will be seeing them in the Superbowl.
Maybe. The Giants would have had to:

1. beat the Bucs
2. beat the Cowboys
3. beat the Packers
4. beat the Colts

It would be a real longshot. Even as a Giants fan, I would in no way have drempt it, this year. Maybe next year???

Id rather have a team that knows now to play in the outdoors and is used to it.

1. Wilfork never made any contact with jacobs face he just stuck its finger in his mask he didnt "Poke him in the eye"

2. The hit on lossman was a joke, when your the size of wilfork its not easy to stop your forward momentum.

So I have a question for you? Are you discounting Dan Marions stats because he played in Miami half the time? Seriously the dome thing is the biggset joke. Indy proved they can win inside and outside considering they won in New England last year and in Baltimore in the post season. Not to mention in windy rainy weather in Miami that was supposed to favor the Bears.

Miami is an outdoor stadium, Im not taking anything away from Marino, Im just saying Manning has it easy by playing indoors. Its not about the weather or the conditions, its just the fact he plays indoors so much. Just b/c its warm in Miami does not take anything away from Marino b/c he still had to deal with wind/rain unlike manning who has a nice climated controlled dome to play in

so you're saying he didn't try to poke him in the eye?

looks pretty clear to me what his intent was...he just missed...

I dont think it was intent and it just look like he was trying to. Im sure he was just trying to pick his nose for him

IMO he was sticking his fingers in his mask to annoy him. If the league felt there was intent to poke his eye Im sure they would have fined him more.

Dome envy?

The new place the colts are building looks nice but you can keep the RCA dome..

BTW our staduim was built with all private funds.. the state only did some access road work... We don't pay for professional sports staduims with tax dollars in massachusetts.. We use that money to waste on giving illegal aliens free health care...

It's very obvious what he did. Hence, the NFL fined him. My co-worker who is an Eagle fan/Giant hater even said there is no question what the cheap shot artist tried to do. Luckily, he didn't make contact. The POS should have gotten at least a 1 game suspension effective immediatly. The only person that could possibly defend this asswipe would be a blind Pats fan.
