Hi, Im new to these forums, and Im planning on getting a New Stang, Im mixed between a Glass Roof and a Vert. My Question is Is the Glass Roof an upgrade or is it going to come as optional in the future? Ive seen someone with a Glass Roof already but I forgot to ask about it...

Any Information is appreciated...Thanks

I dont like sun roofs either its a Glass Back roof And its really nice, its tinted and everything, im really leaning tword that other than a Vert but I was just wondering if it would come as an option like the vert, or if it would be a aftermarket thing...

there has been no mention of a glass roof coming as an option...I wouldn't bet on it being an option either, perhaps a sunroof down the line, but they are having trouble getting out the coupes as it is and next is the verts and the hopefully some SE or SVT so if this were going to be an option, it will be far down the road. Just go with the CDC roof if thats what you would like, they should be selling it soon.

Engine is first, Alot of upgrades, im not sure should I go with a supercharger or Turbo charger.

Inside is next, Im going with a in-dash flip-out 7 inch Touch screen Monitor, nice sound system, Probally Kicker because my dad knows someone from there....Custom Seats.

THen Comes the body, Nice body kit, Custom paint job (black with 2 sliver stripes), The GlassBack Roof, 18'' Rims in front 19'' in back (Probally Blacked out), Full limo tint.

Does that sound good?

Turbo kit is gonna cost you about 3-4k more and your always going to be messing with it. I love the sound of a BOV but the price is a bit steep, especially when a cheaper blower will do the same job.

Well I would first see what these cars can do N/A. Who knows you might hit 11's with D?Rs w/o massive weight reduction, no need for forced induction then. Also they guess 400-450 on stock internals with a turbo it is mighty tempting to up the boost just a lil more. So forged internals might cost $3500.

As for kicker :nice: I have a full system 4 5x7 and 4 tweeters a kx600.1 and a kx300.4 (i had 2 kicker 10 inch solobaric l7's but after I crashed my car the dealer was fixing it and said I wried things wrong and "fixed it". the day I get it back 1 sub is dead and 7 months later the next one dies. When I get back from thailand new subs and a rewiring job. eventually a carputer. that reminds me I gotta change my sig, keeping my gt.

I plan on doing the new hood wheels and paint last too. one day she will be all rough and beat up and then next week she will look all new.

www.classicdesignconcepts.com They have the Glass Back roof. It's not available yet, nor do they have a price for it. I remember reading a thread that said CDC will have all 2005 products ready for market by Jan. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

The glassback IS available, you have to call to order, you'll get a price over the phone and directions to your nearest installer. IMO I think the glassback looks awesome, its not "just a sunroof" its a whole roof.

CDC allready has the Ducktail spoiler, the Shaker (with or without custom hood), Hood scoop, and quite a few other things. Most are available if you call. The spoiler and the shaker are two things I'd def put on if I had an 05 :)

*edit* Heres a list of whats available to be shipped now, call for the rest they may or may not have it in stock, they are shipping to select dealers first is the rumor I heard.

Grille $TBD

Hood Pin Appearance Kit $58.00 Available

Sequential Taillights $TBD

Shaker System $TBD

C-Pillar Scoops $189.00

hood pin appearance? real pins or like glue ons ala fake side exhaust from wallmart. Guessing they are no functional.

They are show only, they look good IMO if I had an aftermarket hood I'd have real pins for sure, but its a show car and most of the stuff I'm showing is CDC products, thats what they sent me so thats whats on the car. :)

youre supposed to drill the cables to the underside of the hood, but I just clipped em to my SS radiator cover. I doubt theyd hold at high speed, but if the stock hoods comin up theres some other issues.
