Glasspack question

My first tech post!!

I was wondering how installing glasspacks before the axle on an 07 GT manual would do to the overall sound while keeping the stock mufflers on.

Would it be much louder or at all? How about the drone? What would it actually sound like?

I thought this might be a cheaper alternative to try before axle-backs on my daily driver. My wife and neighbors would not like it too loud

I can't see how it would be any louder at all, maybe even quieter.

If you have stock cats and pipes most axle backs won't make it much louder unless you use muffler deletes.
