it was a long time ago when i put mine in. but if i remember correctley you have to take out 2 bolts and replace them with two longer ones that come with the brace. real easy to install. i dont think the 2pt fits covertables thou.

The 2 point "G load" or K member brace is the same for convertibles and hardtops. The 4 point brace is different. Also keep in mind that most K member braces will not clear longtubes and sometimes you will have clearance issues with automatic transmissions. As far as the install goes, it's straight forward as long as you also got the necassary hardware.

fox saleen, the reason i said that the 2 pt dont fit convertible is because thats what i read in mustang unlimited catalog. maybe some brands dont fit them just what i read.

It's possible I'm wrong, but I'm pretty positive. Like you said, could depend on the manufacturer. Best bet, get under there and try it out!

Where does it attach to the front control arms? Is it a pretty basic install. I was thinking about getting a g-load brace. There not really expensive. What does it help? Thanks

It attaches to the K member/Chassis junction. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/kbrace.asp Click on the link for a picture of where it connects and what it does.
