Two people were killed in a car accident early Friday morning. Glocester Police said a 1990 Ford Mustang was driving east on Putnam Pike, near Farnum Road, at about 1:30 a.m on Friday when it lost control, went off the road and struck a tree. The driver and his passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not identified the victims pending notification of their families.
