but I found another Mustang today, went to do an estimete and there it was in a warehouse, with a whole bunch of junk around it, but not on it, a very beautiful 66 Mustang Fastback, that was restored 10 years ago.

It is not a GT but has a rear GT valance with correct exhaust tips, and plexiglass in the sail panel where the scoops should be.

It is a 289 4 speed, with a beautiful and shiney Bullet Green type color ( but actually much much nicer classier shade) exterior with a black interior, rally pak gauges, early Shelby low type hood scoop, no letters on the tires, with Torq thrust D's and no center caps.

This car is beautiful, has been lowered slightly and is all there, totally complete, restored and running.

Guys asking 16, but said thats negotiable. Im thinkin to take a loan out and snap this up.

Is it worth it?

Is anybody here interested in it? Trust me its clean.

Not interested, but I always like taking a look at nice finds. Rat Race, there is a classic car auction in Red Bank this weekend. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you the details.

Doesn't sound too bad...but check the underside. Thats where you'll find the rust if there is any or where it was. You don't want to buy one thinking all that's been done and have to re-do it when you paid full price. Get some pictures of it all over and let's take a look at. And tell me where it is...LOL I'm just kidding. :rlaugh:

The cars right over here in Clifton, New Jersey.

Was never interested in a 64 to 66 not because i dont like them but because if givin a choice, when it comes to finding the ultimate Mustang I would like to own i just want from a 67 up.

But this one is really one of the nicest Ive seen, not counting the ones in mags and pro built ones.

All Im wondering is if 15 lets say is a good price to pay- assuming its been done relativley right and has no rust.

It seems like you cant go wrong with a good stang and even if i kept it for a year I think i could always sell it for a bit more, right or wrong?

Im gonna look at it closer today.
