yeah there wont be too many times where ill be wishing i had 4.10's, but when i do ill just look for a freeway onramp to console my regrets:D Actually having a 1st gear is a plus too

Especially in the rain. I mostly start in 2nd in the rain :)

I got FRPP 3.73's and love em. Good choice.
Same here. With the 3.73's + 4R70W + my interstate trek to college every morning I always forget any regrets of not going up to 4.10's. Sure they may not be the steepest gear in the world, but the difference between them and the 3.08's was awesome and the fact that i'm not taching 3 grand on interstate is a plus.

went on today, love em! the stock spindle was in crazy good shape, i mean this thing looks like it has 3k miles on it. Man i love ford. The speedcal is going in saturday, anyone know how to get the consol area around the auto shifter off?

If the cobra is like the GT you'll have to remove the entire center console. There are 4 torx head boltscrew thingers that need to be removed, 2 underneath the radio area, you have to remove the shifter boot thing to get to them, and then the other 2 are inside the console itself, you have to remove that compartment and then you'll see them. Then loosen up the shifter thing until you can pry it up enough to slip the speedcal down through the passenger side of the shifter. Then be careful when you tighten it back down so you dont mess up the wires...we put 2 metal pieces in there to prevent overtightening.
