Ok, I'm going at this blind so to say. I have a 99 gt. 4.11s, long tubes , stock auto, under drive pullies, JLT cold air, Pro elbo. I have a extra set of PI heads and wanted to send them off to have a cnc port job. Can I shave these heads to get more compression? How much? I'll be running pump gas.
Second, New cams? I saw a write up on Crower cams and they made good power. What have you guys had luck with the N/A way? I know a blower is better and will save me money but this is how I'm going at it. Thanks

4.11s?

Um send the heads to fox lake, or MMR for porting and they will allow them to REALLY flow.

Id get some custom grind cams from VT engines.

Yeah you definitely have 4.10s unless you have a GM rear end assy.

Well , now that we all know about my ring and pinion gears..... Will I be able to mill the heads to get a smaller cc like the push rod motors or will it mess with the chains?
How much more power should I look for with stock pistions and a good port job/cam combo?

no milling of the heads period, at least not enough to make a difference. the timing chains won't like it

stock pistons with cnc heads and cams? with ALL the bolt-ons including a new intake manifold (trickflow maybe), full exhaust, aggressive tune and alot of debt you can break 300rwhp (maybe)

you should definately be at or above 300 with what hereaux listed.

if youre gonna go full on n/a id suggest raising the compression and/or a stroker. or you can do all the **** listed above, and when that isnt enough, you can add juice.

I wish I had the answer for you. Maybe there is a head gasket that will reduce the volume of the combustion chamber, but not by much. Maybe forged pistons that have less than the stock 17cc dish (as well as forged rods) are what you need. Good luck.

Auto? High stall torque converter! especially if you plan to change the cams.
